Franke Vogl & Chuck Bettis first meet when they were still teenagers in the DC hardcore
scene. Shortly after their first encounter they would become 1/2 of the quartet called the
Meta-matics, a short lived abnormal hardcore punk band whose reputation for originality &
energetic performances continues to live on to this day. When the band dissolved their
love for extremes only grew stronger. Now decades later the two continue to navigate the
underground with the same ferocity whilst exploring the depths of the avant-garde deeper
than they have before.
